Esoko Hosts Sahel Consulting (Nigeria) & Alliance of Bioversity & CIAT (Senegal) on a Courtesy Visit to Strengthen PPP in Agriculture
Esoko had the privilege of welcoming delegations from Sahel Consulting (Nigeria) and the Alliance of Bioversity & CIAT (Senegal) on a courtesy visit to learn more about Esoko’s agricultural model and digital solutions for farmers.
Sahel Consulting is leading the Building Agricultural Systems Resilience (BASR) Project in Nigeria, implemented in partnership with key institutions such as the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA), the Federal Ministry of Environment, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Food Security, and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
The courtesy visit centered on studying Esoko’s Public–Private Partnership (PPP) Climate Information Service Model, which demonstrates how strategic collaboration among government, private actors, and development organizations can deliver climate information and advisory services that directly improve farmer resilience and productivity.

The exchange highlighted the importance of PPP frameworks in building sustainable, climate-smart food systems across Africa, fostering knowledge sharing, and creating opportunities for cross-country collaboration.
At Esoko, we believe that partnerships are the backbone of agricultural transformation. We remain committed to working with like-minded organizations to build resilience, empower farmers, and ensure no one is left behind.
